by | Nov 27, 2007

Atlanta, GA—Armedia LLC, a leading provider of content management and content related products and solutions, announced today that its flagship solution for managing enterprise application development on the EMC Documentum platform, C3, has received the “Designed for EMC Documentum” accreditation. The accreditation status demonstrates Armedia’s ability to meet the high quality standards that customers insist on in enterprise applications, and that C3 has successfully met a comprehensive set of criteria for excellent design, development and implementation.

C3 is an extension of a previous offering, Armedia SCM. C3 takes Armedia’s SCM application farther by providing additional features aimed at giving enterprises better control over their code and content applications. “Armedia is excited about the latest release of Armedia SCM, now called C3, because our product has progressed beyond just source code management,” explained Terence McDevitt, Armedia’s Director of Product Development. “C3 now offers development teams the ability to build, deploy and release all of their code and content assets on one platform. Enterprises leveraging this functionality will realize significant improvements in their overall application management process.”

“EMC’s position as the leader in enterprise content management is strengthened by the support of partners such as Armedia,” said Randy Ziegler, Director, Developer Programs, EMC. “C3’s status as ‘Designed for EMC’-accredited demonstrates their commitment to the Documentum platform and the quality and value of their offering. Partners such as Armedia build solutions on the Documentum platform to enable customers to leverage the robust capabilities EMC Documentum for managing their most critical and strategic information.”

“With reaccreditation from the Designed for EMC program, Armedia will continue to realize significant benefits for our offerings.
