Our goal is to ensure that you receive the performance you expect from your software investment, and we apply our skills and dedication fully to that end.

In order to accomplish this goal, Armedia incorporates strict methodology processes as well as best-of-breed products to ensure that our staff of professionals delivers first-class solutions.

Agile

Agile software development processes are built on the foundation of iterative development. To that foundation they add a lighter, more people-centric viewpoint than traditional approaches, which minimizes the overall risk in the delivery of a project and provides flexibility.

As experts in agile delivery methodologies, Armedia delivers projects through the production of multiple iterations, or intermediate incremental solutions. These iterations incorporate management processes that promote frequent inspection, teamwork, and accountability into project planning. This allows management to see results early as it becomes apparent within a single iteration whether or not timelines are realistic.

Through incorporating these multiple steps and versions into the project plan from the beginning, Armedia delivers an end-solution that reduces poor scoping, buggy software, and unattainable requirements that frequently cause project failure. This ensures our clients are receiving the highest possibility of success and measurable ROI with their technology investments.

Waterfall

A classically linear approach to software designs and system development, the Waterfall Methodology outlines specific steps, which must be accomplished sequentially by the development team. The stages are designed to be assigned to separate team members in order to ensure greater project and deadline control.

The typical waterfall development model outlines stages of the project in the following order:

  1. Requirements specification – outline of project requirements and needs
  2. Design – formulation of solution
  3. Construction
  4. Integration
  5. Testing and Debugging
  6. Installation
  7. Maintenance

By incorporating these stages into Armedia’s delivery methodology standards,  members of the Armedia Delivery Team are able to effectively monitor and communicate the status of the project at each state, and ensures that development is completed on schedule.

CMMI

Armedia’s delivery methodologies have been appraised at CMMI Level 3.  Attaining this industry-standard certification is a strong indication of Armedia’s commitment to product quality, production efficiency, and the ability to reduce associated costs.

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a defined process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes, which will improve their performance.

Benefits of implementing CMMI process improvements include:

  • Improved schedule and budget predictability
  • Improved cycle time
  • Increased productivity
  • Improved quality
  • Increased customer satisfaction
  • Increased return on investment

In accordance with CMMI guidelines, Armedia regularly undergoes a series of intensive project training and consultation with CMMI professionals.  Armedia is regularly audited in order to ensure our delivery processes and methodologies comply with the eighteen process areas prescribed by the CMMI standard.
