Armedia Content Cloud includes Alfresco Digital Business Platform for ISO compliant hyperautomation.
The Alfresco Digital Business Platform (DBP) has excellent features for unifying data sources, enabling automation of tasks and achieving hyperautomation. The Armedia Content Cloud is in-process for FedRAMP Moderate (est. authorization in Q2 2023).
Why FedRAMP?
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP empowers agencies to use modern cloud technologies, with emphasis on security and protection of federal information, and helps accelerate the adoption of secure, cloud solutions. Government agencies are advised to rely on FedRAMP Marketplace to find suitable solutions for their IT
needs.
The Armedia Content Cloud (ACC) enables organizations to gain access to FedRAMP solutions for business process, document management, case management, intelligent document scanning and records management. With ACC, you can choose the Alfresco Digital Business Platform to digitally transform your organization and be compliant with the latest best practices for cyber assurance.
What is Alfresco Digital Business Platform (DBP)?
The Alfresco Digital Business Platform (Alfresco DBP) is Alfresco Process Services, Alfresco Content Services and Alfresco Governance Services combined in a platform. It’s a go-to platform for digital transformation that empowers large organizations to have a centralized content repository that is
infinitely scalable, secure, and accessible from anywhere.
Organizations can rely on Alfresco Digital Business Platform to pull content from disjointed data sources like local databases, emails, computer folders and even physical documents. Workflows and automations are easy to set up thanks to visual and low-code process builders, enabling automated data processing in all use cases that organizations have on day-to-day basis.
User management can be imported from existing user access management tools for seamless integration into existing technology stacks.
All actions done automatically or by users are auditable, so managers are always equipped with information needed for the next process optimization.
Using the Alfresco Digital Business Platforms, organizations ensure that they are future-proof. Their employees are empowered to focus on the important activities while leaving repetitive tasks to automation sequences.
Another desirable benefit is that with Alfresco, you are cutting costs and increasing security at the same time. The Alfresco core is open-source, which means cost savings and tapping into the collective creative power of thousands of contributors.
What if I have my own license?
If you own Alfresco licenses, and any other licenses in use in your organization, you can keep using them under the ACC FedRAMP solution. If you do not own license for some applications, or your licenses are soon to expire, Armedia is a partner with most of the solutions providers and we can provide competitive licensing deals for your needs.
What if I have heavy customizations?
Most organizations have some sort of content management solutions in place. Some are digital solutions, some still manual/paper-based workflows. With the Alfresco Digital Business Platform we can recreate all of your customizations, whether they are custom workflows, custom labels, the look and feel of the UX, etc.
These customizations will not affect the FedRAMP status though. Armedia follows the strict NIST standards for code development. Any work we do on top of the Alfresco core, will be well within FedRAMP requirements.
Who owns our data?
When using the Armedia Content Cloud in conjunction with Alfresco Digital Business Platform, your organization still owns the data. Combining the ACC and Alfresco in a SaaS offering, we are enabling you to get a FedRAMP authorized business platform. Everything you import and store remains in exclusive ownership of your organization.
What access can I have to the environment?
For your environment, we set up a separate virtual private cloud (VPC) allowing you to have as much access to the environment that is possible based on FedRAMP guidelines.
It is “your” environment that is managed by Armedia as a Software as a Service. If you need access to the environment, we will work with you to establish accounts with the appropriate permissions to perform the required functions.
